More than a Summer Camp

24th April 2018

What did your Children do last Summer? If the answer isn’t go to a Summer Camp maybe it’s time to explore that for this Summer. Firstly, six weeks is a long time to have your children at home and secondly, parents are increasingly realising that summer camps can provide a vital role in helping children develop resilience, independence and social skills.

This is where Let Me Play comes in. We host four major sports camps beginning late July through to early August, at one of the UK’s top Sports facilities Loughborough University. The opportunity for participants is to enhance Basketball, Football or Athletics skills. Does your child have an interest in sports? Have they ever wanted to train like a Pro? Well campers can expect professional training from our expert coaches; specifically Football camp will feature highly-qualified coaches from professional clubs, Basketball coaches are current players, established coaches in the UK or indeed fly in from abroad. Our Athletic Camp see’s current and active athletes share their knowledge as well as have input from coaches that work with elite athletes.

New for 2018 is a Football Performance Analysis Camp where young people 16 – 24, can learn from Performance Analysis staff at Professional Football Clubs with a view to enhance their future careers.

Participants across all camps will enjoy intense training throughout the week, the idea is to aid development on the track, pitch or court as well as when off this. In non-active time, participants take part in lectures, Q&A’s with coaches/athletes and have guest speakers come in. It a well-rounded experience and as much about fun this is where the learning and personal development come in.

The various camps are open to ages of 10-24 and to accommodate our international campers Let Me Play offers an airport collection and return service.

All camp bookings include meals and accommodation.
