Support for positive futures

Employability Support

Employability Support

Our employability programmes, funded by the European Social Fund, seek to support young people and adults who are NEET/economically inactive into sustainable progressions in education, employment or training.

We have designed our programmes to be inspiring, easy to access and to proactively provide support where it is needed.   Support includes funding Functional Skills in English and maths, providing digital skills, practical employability support and thorough IAG.   Our skilled advisors provide careers guidance and actively seek job, apprenticeship and education opportunities.

Our Objectives:

  • Provide support to participants to access relevant and appropriate opportunities, through one-to-one and group work, motivational and confidence building activities, and supported employment mechanisms.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance for the participant when ‘crisis’ or transition points arise, through mentoring and coaching, conflict management/resolution, financial management/budgeting, and support on housing and accommodation.
  • Avoid the revolving door of people moving in and out of training without gaining employment experience, which often leads to long-term unemployment or economic inactivity as they move into adulthood.
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with local employers and other organisations to secure additional opportunities and support for participants.

Together we help young people onto their next steps and we put them on a pathway so that they can realise their potential.  If you are an interested participant, please email your name, contact number, postcode and date of birth to: info@letmeplay.co.uk quoting ‘Employability Support’.  We look forward to helping you.  Please feel free to refer someone you know also!
