The Let Me Play Street Dance Camp is one of the only residential Street Dance Camps in the UK.  Held at the prestigious Elmhurst School for Dance in Birmingham, the camp has now been running for the past 7 years and we strive to make every year even better than the last.  The camp is available for male and female dancers, aged 10 – 21, and we cater for all levels of dancer, from beginner to advanced.  Dancers can expect to experience a variety of street dance styles throughout the week, and learn a number of new and exciting routines from talented dancers and choreographers who are professionals in the dance industry. 
There are limited places for this camp so do book early to avoid disappointment!

Dance Choreographers:
It is our mission to ensure we find the best choreographers and dancers available to teach on camp.  We want to ensure camp participants have the opportunity to experience all the latest styles of street dance, as well as be inspired by leading role models in the dance field who can share their experiences and provide valuable advice to dancers wanting to make it in the industry. Dancers can expect masterclasses in a variety of dance styles including poppin’, breakin’, lockin’, house, nu-style, hip hop and commercial. 

Facilities:
Our Street Dance Camp takes place at the Elmhurst School for Dance in Birmingham.

The school has very comfortable living arrangements with studios, catering and accommodation all on one site. Our camp participants have shared bedrooms and there are lounges with televisions and DVD players for relaxation periods.

The facilities include:

• 250-seat studio theatre incorporating the best modern technology
• Theatre workshop and support facilities
• 7 dance studios
• Music recital room
• 7 music practice rooms
• ICT centre, with 30 networked computers
• A suite of spacious and attractive academic classrooms
• Medical centre
• Physiotherapy and exercise centre

Prices:
Street Dance Camp Residential: £450
Price Includes: camp, 5 night accommodation, 3 meals per day, camp t-shirt.

Street Dance Camp Non-residential: £325
Price Includes; camp, 2 meals per day (lunch and dinner), camp t-shirt.

English Language courses sit alongside all of our camps, offering international participants the opportunity to improve their English through daily English Language lessons.  If you would like to place your child on a special English language study course whilst he or she is at camp, you can add it to your camp package for an additional fee.  For more information on this option please see our English Language Camps option, or email info@letmeplay.co.uk.
