October half term is here – and the good news for parents is that there are a host of FREE, fun-packed activities to keep young people active.

H&F Council is working with LMP Action CIC and 19 other local organisations to support their half term activities with free meals for every child and young person who attends. The events will be held at a variety of different venues across H&F,and will run from 23 to 27 October.

The week will include sports, performing arts, tech activities including robotics and coding as well as fashion and art opportunities. All of the activities are free to attend.

There is something for everyone on offer from drone flying to robotics, to cooking, dance, sports and music.

The line-up of free activities in H&F includes:

  • Urban Flyers’ Autumn Tech Camp in White City offering drone flying, coding, robotics, filmmaking, vlogging, retro arcade gaming, fitness, and food.
  • Chance to learn about low cost, nutritious eating choices while enjoying delicious wholesome meals at the Nourish Hub in Shepherds Bush.
  • A four-day holiday programme from Action on Disability offering sports, off-site trips, video games, board games, art projects, swimming, yoga, dance, workshops, bike riding, digital media, cooking and much more.
  • SEAPIA will deliver a wide range of activities that include cooking and planning menus, music, arts and crafts, gardening, sports and messy play in south Fulham.
